Monella is a feminist research project by Yasmin Tyndale (b.2003, Milan) and her moniker for all print and editorial design outputs.

The Italian word Monella (feminine) is often used to describe a child (in this case, a girl) who misbehaves. This spirit of defiance is foundational to each output, so too is (an intrinsically childlike) curiosity.
